Under the title “We Are Not Alone – Let’s Speak Up, Seek, and Offer Support” it was a great honor for me to discuss the topic of mental health with Dr. Uroš Perko from various perspectives, while also recognizing the similarities, interconnectedness, and richness of each of our experiences, including those of the wonderful audience.

Zanimive tematike so se prepletale na OZS Vič z mislijo na boljše fizično in duševno zdravje v naših podjetjih. Spregovorila sem o družinskih podjetjih kot načinu življenja, kjer sta trdo delo, odgovornost in kredibilnost recept za uspeh, pogosto pa tudi za izgorelost, tesnobo in celo potlačeno travmo, ki nas sprogramira v tako pridne in ustrežljive…

Together with a warm and engaged audience, we spoke about the fact that older people also know what anxiety and trauma are. They were not taught to talk about emotions, but rather to suppress them, endure, and work hard to secure basic material necessities. Their distress often emerges during retirement, the loss of a partner, a low pension, health issues, and a lack of social connections.

V Kulturnem centru Škocjan sem bila gostja večernega pogovora o anksioznosti, tesnobi in travmi. S svojo pripovedovalsko čarovnijo sem odprla vrata v svet svojih del Skodelica življenja in Vrč ljubezni.
